The skills4trades intensive 5/10 course has been developed to give you a sound knowledge in all areas in the art of plastering. No experience is necessary for anyone to take part in any of our courses.

On the course we will cover as many aspects of the job as we can and feel that after 1 to 2 weeks you will be ready to tackle all normal plastering requirements.

At the start of the qualified course you will be given you technical folder outlining your course contents for the different stages throughout your period of training.

You will learn to:
  • MIX PLASTERING MATERIALS
  • APPLY PLASTERBOARD CUT TO SIZE
  • SKIM WALLS
  • APPLY BONDING TO EXISTING SURFACES AND RENDER EXTERNAL WALLS USING SAND AND CEMENT
  • PREPARE SURFACES BEFORE PLASTERING
  • CUT AND FIX ANGLE BEEDS AROUND WINDOWS AND REVEALS
  • TAPE INTERNAL JOINTS

After this You will be qualified to go out and trade employed or self employed as a plasterer after just 3 weeks !!
